S-Plastics valox PBT plastic is a kind of plastic composed of polybutylene terephthalate. It is a semi crystalline material with very good chemical stability, mechanical strength, electrical insulation characteristics and thermal stability.

 

PBT applications

  • Electronic appliances: commonly used in connectors, switch parts, household appliances, accessory parts, small electric covers or (heat resistance, flame retardancy, electrical insulation, molding processability);
  • Automotive Industry:External parts: mainly corner grid, engine heat release hole cover, etc;
  • Internal parts: mainly including endoscope stay, wiper bracket and control system valve;
  • Automotive electrical parts: automotive ignition coil twisted tube and various electrical connectors.
  • Mechanical equipment: belt drive shaft, electronic computer cover, mercury lamp cover, electric iron cover, baking machine parts for video tape recorder, as well as a large number of gears, cams, buttons, electronic watch housings and camera parts (with heat-resistant and flame-retardant requirements).

S-Plastics valox DR48 is a 17% glass filled, flame retardant Polybutyleneterephthalate (PBT) injection moldable grade with excellent chemical resistance. It has a UL94V0@0.90mm and 5VA@3.0mm flame rating. Applications: lamp sockets, connectors, witches, electrical housings,bases, bobbins, trimmers and electromotor housings.
